12 Fun Facts About The TV Show, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, that will make you go 'Whoo-Pah'!
Pheobe's -'They don't know that, we know, they know we know!', Joey's -'How you doin'?', Monica's -'I Knoww!', Ross's -'We were on a break!', Rachel's- 'Noooo!' and Chandler's -'Could I BE any more funny!'
I seriously can't help, but remember them in their iconic voice tones!

F.R.I.E.N.D.S - is one of the most watched T.V series of all time! And it is one of the most streamed shows on Netflix's library. Twenty-five years ago, this sitcom made its debut on NBC, on September 22, 1994.
This show is incredible in a thousand ways but I think the best thing about it is how timeless it is. Two decades later, you can completely connect to it, how real the character are, the problems they face, the milestones they overcome. And more importantly, it is the friendship they all share that we all crave for!
Main cast actors were- Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Lisa Kudrow (Pheobe Buffay), Courtney Cox (Monica Geller), Matthew Perry (Chandler Muriel Bing), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani). I just love all of them, and you just CAN'T chose any one of them as your favorite!
And when you are with your friends, you are bound to make some amazing memories!
I would love to share some real, fun facts about the series-
1. Susan and Carol's wedding.
Ross's lesbian ex-wife Carol and his nemesis Susan's wedding was the first gay wedding to be shown on the television. The creators hired more then 200 part-time people to take up the complaint calls. Amazingly, only 11 calls were received!
2. Unconventional ways of pregnancy.
The three female friends were given unconventional ways of pregnancy to spread the social message that surrogacy, being a single parent, infertility and adoption are nothing to be ashamed of.
3. Sidewalk outside Central Perk
When the tenth season ended, all the cast members were given a piece of sidewalk outside Central Perk to keep with them as reminiscence! I find it cute!
4. Pheobe Buffay is a bisexual character.
Pheobe was actually a bi character. The show just didn't talk about it openly. Instances in episodes like- 'The One With Ross And Monica's Cousin', 'The One With Pheobe's Birthday Dinner' and 'The One With Rachel's Phone Number'. If you haven't noticed it yet, go and watch them now, you will understand!
5. It's all in Rachel's dream.
According to a popular theory, it is said that all this was in Rachel's dream in her sleep on the night before she was going to marry Barry Farber.
6. Janice's appearances were always kept a secret.
Janice's appearance on the show was kept a secret from the live audience. This is why the live crowd would shout crazy on her entrances.
7. It was all in Pheobe's head!
A popular theory claims that, it was all in Pheobe's head. The premise is that Pheobe never got off the streets. She was a homeless woman with Meth addiction who peered into the window of Central Perk and saw a group of friends laughing over coffee and hallucinated herself as a part of the gang.
Think if the series would have ended with Pheobe waking up outside the Central Perk all in shabby clothes and mangled hairs, thinking that she does'nt have friends?!
8. It wasn't Janice with the highest number of OH MY GAWD!
"OH MY GOD" was said for 1,027 times in the whole show, but Janice said it for just like 11 times only! It was Rachel with the highest number of 'OH MY GOD', approximately 269 times out of the 1,027 times.
9. Monica could have been played by Janice.
Maggie Wheeler auditioned for the role of Monica Geller before being selected for Janice Litman. Both of them turned out to be Chandler's girlfriend!
10. 'Baywatch' and Matthew Perry.
Do you remember Chanoey's favorite show? 'Baywatch' and their favorite actress? Yasmine Bleeth? Matthew Perry which means Chandler Bing has dated Yasmine Bleeth in 1996 for real!
11. Matt LeBlanc's audition story.
When LeBlanc auditioned for the role of Joey, he just had eleven dollars in his account. When cast members got their first paychecks, the first thing Joey bought was a hot dinner and Cox bought a new car. LeBlanc had a big cut on his nose when he first auditioned for the role. Some say that LeBlanc was a carpenter before he auditioned for being Joey.
Hank Azaria, who later played David, Phoebe's love interest, had initially auditioned for the role of Joey for two-three times.
12. Trip of Last Shot at Anonymity.
Reportedly, Director Burrow, wanted the whole cast to go to the Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, before the show goes on air, to enjoy their last trip without being hounded with fans. He asked them to enjoy because this would be their 'last shot at anonymity', because he had 'good feelings about the show'.
There are many more facts about the show. But, I didn't choose to write them all, because they are all readily available on the internet and on social media fan pages as well. I found these facts a little intriguing and fun!
Hope you enjoyed them too!
