Goddamn, Its 2021 already!

Have you ever seen the show Gossip Girl? How every move the upper-eastsiders take, the mysterious 'Gossip Girl' behind the screen turns it into a 'scandolus' and hot new gossip in her blog? 

Or let's take a more ironically recent and legit example! Seen Bridgerton on Netflix? How every move the ton makes, mysterious 'Lady Whistledown' very smartly curates it into a weekly blog phamplet and circulates it around the whole town!

To get to the point, its always someone inside our society that is responsible for the whole mess! As if it is for their own good! In Gossip Girl its Dan and in Bridgerton its Penelope Featherington disguised as 'Lady Whistledown'.

I am not pointing any finger here! But, let's just understand this.

For starters,

'Every boy you see with a girl in the field of your sight doesn't need to be her boyfriend or a romantic partner!' 

Goddamn, its 2021, they can be just friends!

Or an answer like, 'Bhai h mera' is more acceptable! Cheers, Patriarchy, you win again!

Again, 'Wearing a crop top doesn't make me a 'slut'!

Goddamn, its 2021, lemme wear anything I want!

Control and educate your boy and your husband not to linger their eyes and hands on my body!

Don't tell me how to dress, and for god's sake do not think we are that weak to break their fingers or punch their eye blue!

Now, 'That person is 'muhnphatt' and has alot of attitude issue!' 

Goddamn, its 2021, you really want me to keep quiet and behave like a naive, blushing girl talking only in hushed tones?! No, I can't, you must have done something or you must have said something that got me like this! 

Please, a real humble request! Please do not pass on anything you haven't seen with your eyes, and control the urge to promote and help spread anything you have heard or told to you! And, also their is more to what meets your eyes!

Because, as a matter of fact, every gossip conversation starts with 'Maine kahin se suna h...' and ends with 'Apne ko kya karna h, uski life h'!

Whoever it may concern, and you know it very well whom this concerns with and please share this blog with them! 

This whole horrid cycle, can destroy and tamper someone's life! This horror story can haunt them at every point and even on a happy and important day of their life!

Your 5 mins of gossip indulgence can shake someones mental health for life! It can develope a whole new life block for someone! All in all, its a mental torture!

This thing you call a tittle-tattle has affected everyone aged 15-24 years! I am also a prey to it! Everyone has, atleast once!

Everyone has made some mistakes, you too! But, punishing them and gossiping about them everytime and at every point is WRONG!  

And this people have the guts to go to someone's parents and rant, when they haven't seen anything with their own eyes! Just put their shoes on, and think from their perspective, and if that was your child, you were going to say mindlessly about!

I can rant about it all day around and it will never end! 

Concluding it here! It's my request to all the people parents or guardians to teenagers! Please, sit with them and listen to them! And for once stop thinking what the society will say! 'Log Kya Kahenge?!' is way less important than our, your own child's happiness! Just listen to them! If they aren't right, correct them and please do not convict them wrong on the basis of society's fear or your names!
